I feel like I have been in this game my whole life, and that's pretty much because it is true. I started triathlon in my youth roughly aged 11 or 12 years old. Gradually working my way through TriStar races before ultimately being old enough to race on the roads in sprint and standard distances. My true love for endurance sport came after watching my dad complete multiple IRONMAN events, and then me completing my first 70.3 aged 18. Fast forward from that 70.3 over 10 years to now I've raced round the world and learnt from some of the best in the sport and still love this game and get as much out of working with athletes helping them to reach their goals and finish lines as I do pushing myself to perform the best I can be. I'm a big believer of Kaizen - the Japanese philosophy of constant improvement. Everyday is an opportunity to improve, even if it is only by 1%. It is not about being invincible it's just about progress and changing for good.

My coaching philosophy is simple, for me the world of endurance sport whether thats triathlon or a single sport, is about striving for personal fulfilment and each individuals own version of excellence whatever level that may be. The results come from understanding and working through the process, consistency over time, not just one great session. I bring a science and evidence/research backed approach that is delivered in a programme specific to that individual athlete's needs. I'm not trying to bend an athlete to work into a programme, I am creating a plan that works around you. For everything triathlon, running and strength the aim is simple, high quality work, executed very well, stacked on top of each other, specific to the athlete based on their physiology and the way they move.
